Moves afoot to enshrine in legislation that cash payments for groceries fuel and medicines will remain.
Some want cashless society.
Elderly dont. At times your phones go flat. Power outages. The computer glitch of two months ago.
I have about $120 cash in ashtray of every vehicle here.
Run out of fuel in middle of nowhere and ask a farmer for 20 litres of fuel type situation can pay them on the spot. Never happened yet touch wood.

Presume you guys basically cashless as well. Many dont take cheques anymore.

Seems like an excellent plan, convert to a cashless society which requires 100% uptime on the electrical grid. At the same time they are destroying the reliability of the electrical grid with unreliable power sources while destroying reliable base load.
