Trudeau’s support drops in latest poll

National Post article about a new Abacus data poll shows that the Liberals could finish in an unprecedented 4th if an election were held today. Looks like Justin Trudeau’s unpopular policies like the carbon tax have finally caught up to him. Even in his home province of Quebec he can’t win a by-election. It is truly a good day in Alberta today!!!

Unfortunately, now that they have nothing left to lose, they can wreak unprecedented havoc for the next year

Trudeau insists the by-election won’t push him out. “I’m not going anywhere,” he told a Montreal radio station on Friday. “I’ve got a fight to lead against people who want to hurt this country, who want to hurt our communities and who want to take the country in directions that, quite frankly, are exactly the opposite of where the world needs to go.”

Illustrative to me is the last sentence.
If his book was half right, and his speeches stand for themselves.
He believes the world needs to go in a certain direction. Maybe right, maybe wrong.
The point is the world isn't listening to him at all. Totally sheltered his whole life.
PP might be becoming an arse hat, but JT still a child.

That speech doesn't make him sound at all like a despotic dictator bent on imposing his tyrannical ideology against the will of the people.

                Perhaps furrow.
As I've said before, Utopians always fall victim to human nature.
Many parallels exist today with the interwar years of the last century.
Either way, tears will be shed and not by the pragmatists.
Leading the better angels of our nature was never in the cards for that child.
