Rain Report June 27-28

Half inch at White City, 6 miles east of Regina.

Just over 2 in 40 miles west of Red Deer. One of the rare occasions I'm not complaining about rain. The first measurable rain we've had since late May.

Regina city got 3/4 inch. We were slated for 2 inches but system went north.

2.5 inches here in 'Make or Break Harbour'. The canola will bloom on schedule.

just over a 1/2 inch so far for us in MB , but today is not done yet , 20 mm more possible , but what i'm more worried about is the slow development of the crops , last year we had hail damage on Canada day and my canola was starting to flower then , and lots of bright yellow fields around , this year canola is just starting to fill in the rows

Curious why you started this on topic agriculture related thread in Chuck's daycare instead of the adult forum? Did you want to give the child an opportunity to contribute?

Seemed like a rural issue, not really anything todo with commodity marketing but could be wrong.

Ya thanks alot, didn't need a DROP! way past adequate moisture, above ground all over fields/crops. Plus COLD COLD COLD!

I think 2010 was better at least only got one quarter seeded and didn’t have to watch as many acres drown out.

Already came back and hit us again with a downpour. Over an inch here now easy. Good for rainfall for a while, need sunshine.
