Information posted in National Poat today puts Canadian youth at 58th on Happiness Index. Our educational system bombards them with propaganda that they are inherently bad because they came from a line of oppressors. they should feel guilty for what their ancestors did or didn’t do. We are all squatting on treaty land and we should daily acknowledge this transgression.

Do you wonder why our youth drug abuse rate and suicide rate is abhorrently high? Shame you bullies and abusers! These abusers should be showed up for what they are. Families and society need to stand up for the kids.

Because there is no credible evidence that the vaxx is safe or effective!

I fixed it for you, you can thank me later!

So what else are the antivaxers going to add to list of health issues that are all caused by the covid vaccine with no evidence to back up your inane claims?

Crop posts antivaxer claims from social media and I post studies from credible peer reviewed medical journals and the dimwits think the social media posts from who knows where are more credible?

And yet all of you rely on science and experts for the rest of your life except when it comes to vaccines? LOL

All I know is, when I read some Social Studies course work, the red flags are there.

Guilt needs to be taken out of the equation is all.

History cannot be erased, nor can it be restituted. All we can do is learn it and learn from it.

The idea that we have to pay for historical events now, that things are going to be renamed because the people they were named after owned slaves, that we should constantly ask forgiveness… these are all things that have no impact. Virtue signalling at its best.

Learn the facts. Keep emotions out of it.

                Agreed.
                From a G10 Health course.
In a list of Key Determinants for health.
                "equitable distribution of wealth"
                "gender based social status"

So poverty, misogyny, discrimination and racism don't cause social problems?

Social status and wealth are key determinants for health and well being.

Or are you going to argue that the higher income people aren't better off?

On a positive note, I learned a new word today.

Never heard those words in school.
Although the Quebec nonsense was there.
Never read them in the 74 edition World Book either.
My depression era parents and self taught civics from the encyclopedia taught me our duty is to contribute to society to the best of our natural abilities and circumstance.
And we have compassion for those unable.
I learned how participation in an economy benefits everyone.
I never saw color until I left home and still see the world in black and white.
Financially rich or poor, a sense of entitlement is what has changed.
A growing acceptance that taking is justified.
"All men created equal" implied far more rights and responsibilities for the human animal than simplified socialism can conceive.

Costs nothing to have some class. Could be wealthy and highly educated and still be useless asshole.

It is easy enough to blame these and address these societal problems for lack of positive outcomes for the marginalized of society but at the end of the day a lack of necessity for personal responsibility trumps the opportunities present. Can only help so much but people need to help themselves as well.

I know there is the concept of equality of outcomes but how does that equate to encouraging exceptionalism? Double edged question but you know what I mean.

kinda tiresome to hear the usual diatribe about the laundry list of societal problems and the man holding you down bit.

If we could redirect the conversation from equality of outcome to equality of opportunity, we could probably find some common ground and actually accomplish something.

What the heck is equality of outcome?

If I run a mile in 30 minutes and Donovan Bailey runs it in 1 minute, I really ran it in 1 minute because the outcome must be equal?

I have many opportunities to run a mile but I’m definitely not going to have equal outcomes when doing so.

                            That is an excellent analogy.
What makes it even better is that the very same woke Wing nuts who are promoting the dei in every other facet of life, and if you dig down, it is always about equality of outcome, not opportunity, are the same ones who think that men should be allowed to compete in women's sports in the name of equality.
