Some days I wonder if it would take Trudeau two more terms in office to turn Canada into the former Argentina, or if he rolled up his sleeves higher he might get 'er done in one.

I sure hope PP cuts subsidies to oil and gas and to the likes of Monette farms who don't need subsidies and only drive up the cost of farm land for everyone else.

Why are corporate investor very large farms getting most of the subsidy dollars?

If PP and his base are opposed to subsidies those would be a good place to start!

Government picking winners is creating false economies. What other false economies are being created Chuck? When in glass houses someone’s going to kick the apple crate out from under you.

Actually, premier Smith wants to allow the free market to pick the winners and losers. You are upset because unreliable energy cannot compete on the free market.

The humour never ends on here.
The poster whose only comprehension of running a business consists of claiming that solar panels are a good investment because they cost about the same as a new pickup truck. Then tells us he has "several" pick up trucks; is now lecturing us about how to run a country like a business.
Thank you for providing the comic relief Chuck. This site could get very depressing if not for your unintended humour. Keep up the good work.

Prove Monettes are getting most of the subsidy dollars. You have no way to prove it.

                  So don't spread lies.

Is Chuck making up statistics and facts again?
                    Shocking.

How about Moe and his irrigation subsidies.? Never heard him bragging about that in his ads on TV.

                        Another case of whataboutism.
Do all of you lefties read from the exact same playbook?

Canada is turning into a free day care for 1/3 the population while the other 2/3 is going broke paying for all of it

Aren't you optimistic today. It's nowhere near that high.
18.4 million Canadians paid income tax last year. Out of a population of almost 40 million. Less than half contribute.
Then subtract all the civil servants out of that, which are seeing record growth lately.
