The indirect costs are quite low if they only add a small amount to inflation rate in Canada. So says Trevor Tombe at the U of C.

But you probably know more than Tombe who crunches these numbers for a living?

If you believe that, then why did you use the word direct?

"90% of the carbon tax is rebated."

So what's the point of the scheme? Certainly NOT for saving the planet.

Wealth redistribution to the gullible for VOTES!

A long time ago we were taught to not pay compounded interest.
The carbon tax, along with GST, are compounded.
As different products are handled different amount of times, to come up with a true amount would be difficult(compounded) so extra difficult!

The only one good thing about the carbon scam tax is its putting the final nails in the liberal / NDP coffin

And they seem to be have chosen this hill to die on.
Is it possible they don't want to get reelected? Knowing the disaster they have bestowed upon the country? Let the conservatives inherit this flaming dumpster fire. Then blame them from the opposition seats for the next few years? Knowing that fixing this is going to be highly unpopular with the voters, they think they can sweep back in next time?

He sure does but doesn’t think a pointless carbon tax is the answer. Think we aware of this. Are you aware your party’s leap manifesto if were partially undertaken would cripple our economy? Your federal leader is calling for a ban on thermal coal exports. What sort of harikari death cult has your party become? You obviously won’t answer.

We should be subsidizing public transportation as a way to get more people off the roads. Especially in very busy areas around major cities.

We should also break the monopoly our 2 railroads have on our rail system. That would bring more competition.

Roads are also heavily subsidized by taxpayers. They are essential to our transportation system. So there should be little resistance to investing in transportation in including public transportation.

But the Curly Moe killed the STC instead of making it better. Another blow to rural Saskatchewan.

Billions on roads and peanuts for public transportation?
