Last we saw of Mr Trudeau he slipped in unannounced in January last year to pump Vidal Metals Saskatoon as a big deal in the new green economy.

    From CBC Jan 19 2023;

"Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited a rare earth elements processing plant in Saskatoon Monday as part of a tour to oversee the Canadian supply chain of metals and minerals needed for a greener world."

"We need, of course, efficiency in our supply chains. But we also really need resilience in our supply chains," Trudeau said.

"This is an exciting time to be forward-looking at what the world needs from Canada… Canada is extraordinarily well-positioned to succeed in the decades to come."

"The federal government recently spent $5 million to help establish processing and production at the Saskatoon facility, according to a news release issued by the government."

That didn't work out to well as Vital declared the Saskatoon location bankrupt shortly after resulting in the equipment being sold unused at auction for pennies on dollar.

They sold the mining operation for $13 million to a Chinese company.

Hopefully there is no Business visits when he comes to Tisdale?

    Spending your money wisely.

Justin’s ArrivCan controversy is getting a little more stinky as the liberals and NDP want to shut the commission down. A lot of the witnesses have come down with “ArrivCan flu” as one the Conservative MP’s put it.
The auditor general releases her report on Monday. Hopefully it’s very awkward for those involved.

As bad as the Trudeau govt is, they look like boy Scouts compared to the corruption and Kickbacks in the Sask Party government
Now some of their "best" are fleeing like Rats from a SINKING Ship

Will he get Covid again so he doesn't have to go to Sask?
It seems odd that they would advertise this far in advance. Gives far too much time for the majority of Sask residents who aren't big fans to prepare to greet him. And that is an understatement.

                  You haven't been paying attention.

                  Headline from The Philippine Star

Philippines gets $5.3 billion climate finance commitment from Canada

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines and the United Nations Development Program have secured $5.3 billion in climate finance commitment from Canada, Malacañang said yesterday.

Global Affairs Canada Climate Finance executive director Andrew Hurst announced Canada’s increased support for the Philippines in the ongoing 28th Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Dubai.

According to a statement from the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), the new funding will help the Philippines in promoting biodiversity conservation, climate change mitigation, adaptation and resilience with consideration for gender equality.

The collaboration and finance commitment will run until 2026.

Hurst said their project covers activities that include research and knowledge sharing.

The Philippines is number 116 on the corruption index tied with Ukraine and El Salvador.

Washing $5.3 billion would be a once in a lifetime opportunity for that regime.

But they will be happy to do it.

But at least they included the word gender in the announcement.
