    Amazing truck recovery!

Always has to be someone (or 2 or 3....) that drives on the ice waaaay too early! This was at Fishing Lake SK a week and a half or so ago...
The AMAZING Baillie Boys Towing from Yorkton somehow managed to get this out of the water and onto dry land...
Give it a watch, pretty amazing physics at work!!

Every winter I see some reports of vehicles breaking through ice.
What is the reason for vehicles to be driving on frozen lakes?
Is it ice fishermen who don't want to walk?
      Actual ice roads for transportation?
Alcohol and hold my beer and watch this?
Our neighbor lost her husband on an ice road, many other close calls from ice roads. Another neighbor lost his first wife (all drunk). There is a cross for a snowmobiler who fell through a muskeg/lake less than 2 mile from here. And a seismograph thumper truck that was recovered right beside it. Many other catastrophes.
We don't seem to be learning much.
