    Wow, what a waste of resources - these “black” alternative energy sources. They will all be dismantled and we will be digging burial holes for them.

        You might want to check out oil spills and windows. There are many causes of bird deaths.

                * full disclosure*
                this is a facetious post in response to all of CCchucks posts.

                This article is more about the lack of building permits the windfarm developer had in place, but its funny they mentioned 1 confirmed eagle death.

                  That is called a "whataboutism" it is one of Chuck's favourite ( and least effective) deflections.
                  And the "many causes" is right out of Chuck's mouth when he has no other recourse.
                  Don't be a chuckChuck. Be better than him.

                      Using the ignore feature has considerably lessened the frequency/volume of posts visible overall.

                        But does it actually improve the quality and maturity of the discourse?
                        If we all ignore the trolls and baiters, but in the absence of any pushback, they multiply and become the majority of the volume on here, at some point, it would appear to the outsider that they are the majority and do represent the views of farmers?
                        Is every potential new poster, or returning old poster supposed to do the same, or will they just turn away in disgust?

                            The windmill issue does not show a concern for birds only a disdain for windmills. That is the reason . Windmills are a problem if placed in a migratory path.

                              I have little care for others. Ignore makes my day and perusal more enjoyable and that’s what I find to be important.

                              Also much easier to find actual threads of interest when all the others vanish.
