As I understand. The Bureau of climate change and propaganda, formerly known as weather, completely missed the ball and forecast a record dry and hot, which turned into extremely wet and cold.
But even though they are consistently 180 degrees wrong on such a short timeframe, we should definitely believe that to they are capable of exact climate change forecasts 50 years into the future

Wet very wet got eastern Australia. Bureau of Meteorology our govt weather agency still saying drought dry elnino. Been wet since Oct for many but will not change the narrative. Rivers that “would never flow again” as stated 15 or so years ago will flood again. Dams that will never fill again brim full. Even hard core climate change people are “softening” their comments last few years.

The “anti climate change” sentiment is kinda reaching fever pitch the argument will balance out and variability word will be used instead of climate change which it is. Hope that makes sense.
edit it’s not really climate change deniers gaining traction it’s more normal everyday people getting sick of it being rammed down there throats about something that may or may not happen.

38 c with humidity Saturday shall be out storm chasing think only 5th day of 38c plus since Jan quite a cool non heatwave year been a while since the 2 week long heatwaves of 40c and over hate em.I’m not hottest in state but longevity of heatwaves were up there. Ranges to our west 80/90 kms moisture meanders in from east then heat from north just channels down from interiors and gets trapped. Until a big blow from ocean cleans it out. But like I said hasn’t happened for years the big heatwaves.

                never made a headline
most dams and reservoirs were full after they would be dry for the rest of eternity…. LOL

Turning colder in January? That's never happened before! A sure sign climate change and global warming is not happening no doubt!
