Are you freezing in the dark Hamloc? LOL
Solar and wind are intermittent? No way I have never heard of that.
You don't think grid operators have a plan for cold weather events?
Its been quite windy in many parts of the prairies this cold spell. Hence the high wind chill values.
But apparently the wind turbines have all stopped even in areas that have 10 - 30kmh winds?

”The report said by 2026 that increasing demand and generation constraints could become an issue.” I guess we better not look to B.C.!
As for the fact my lights are still on?! That is thanks to natural gas and coal!

Basically the electrical consumer in western Canada has to pay for 2 systems for power.
the “renewables” and a base load that is still needed at max capacity in many times during the winter.
A few “green” nuclear plants will provide petroleum free electricity 24/7

How in the hell can anyone honestly think they can plug in all these electric cars and not crash the grid ????
Alberta doesn’t owe Sask anything, they kept us employed and fed through the dark years here under NDP Rule, nutley should be brought before a commission to answer for this horse shit , she shut it all down
