Oh, so because this Biofuel plant is a one off and small in comparison to everything else it is just wonderful to have a 1000% subsidy? Are you #*#*ing serious?

I don't think most armchair economists appreciate the implications of an energy source costing 10 times more than another energy source.
We don't throw money into the volcano of the global warming gods, and in return for our cash sacrifices, they give back green energy.
We use energy to create more energy. A small amount of fossil fuel energy to run a drilling rig to access a massive amount of natural gas for example. The EROEI ratio.
In the modern industrialized world, the entire cost of anything can ultimately be attributed to the total of all the energy needed to create it. Directly, and indirectly. Even the salaries of the accountants or researchers or salespeople ultimately go to buy energy or products made using energy.

So when the all in cost of one form of energy is 10 times more than another. It ultimately means that it takes 10 times more energy to make said energy useful.
The EROEI is so far into the negative it couldn't possibly power a civilization. It is only a drain on everyone else.

Says the farmers who receive a significant subsidy "premium" for some crops because a large percentage of north american corn, soybean, canola are used in biofuels!

But they don't dare complain about the subsidies to the grain based biofuel industries!

And when the subsidies to the oil and gas industries come up they go silent and run away with their tails between their legs!

again CC, you have outdone yourself and posted a new, "dumbest post you have ever made"! Do you farm? Why not tell us where (not specific for obvious reasons), how many acres and what crops you grow? I am sure that some on here get more upset than others when you post the stupid shit you post, but what I really wonder is, how is it possible that an actual farmer is this ignorant about how the market, and really the ag world, works? I realize that you can easily lie and tell us anything, but I would be surprised if you were actually a real producer and not some Libtard/Dipper sitting in his mom's basement in Regina waiting for the return of Roy Romanow...

            6000 acres.

How do I know you are a real farmer and not just some right winger sitting in his basement who dosen't want to admit he is subsidized along with the oil and gas industry and biofuel too?

So, when you took your dog sled to Ottawa a few months ago during the middle of harvest, to attend the NFU conference, was that before or after you harvested your 6,000 acres?

Chuck, I guess you could take all the money away from the productive
sector and you could disperse it to the rest of the population and the majority would be better off BUT the productive sector would disappear.

Chuck is a waste of time and positive energy. A list of his hypocrisies and ignorances would take days.

You could actually save a lot of time by listing the rare instances where his hypocrisy or ignorance were not on full display.
