    cowman, those limo babies hit the ground ready to get up and get a belly full of colostrum, no need to haul out the tube feeder and spend half the day or night getting them up and going, and because the mama cows are fairly protective the coyotes usually don't feast on limo babies often !
    I have helped neighbours get dummy calves going far too many times not to appreciate the limo calves !!! Yup some of the limo blood lines were not famous for their quiet disposition but most breeders make an effort to get rid of the high headed ones and not breed it into their herd.

    I have a couple of smotty mothers, but the rest are okay. The snotty ones will be gone this fall regardless of what they are worth, because I am worth a lot more than they are !!!
