There is no doubt after Trudeau imposed his wealth transfer tax(also called a carbon tax) July 1,2023 on Atlantic Canada that the Liberal’s popularity went down in Atlantic Canada. Everywhere else in Canada Trudeau has said, suck it up, the carbon tax is the best way to lower emissions. But low and behold they have not only removed the carbon tax from heating oil BUT have also increased the grant from $10000 to $15000 towards installing an electric heat pump. Hmmm, unbelievable how he just keeps trying to blatantly buy votes.

Inflation is doing a lot of the work of a carbon tax but there is no rebate to consumers.
