Considering that the political and cultural movements Chuck supports are the diametric opposite of meritocracies. Kakistocracies perhaps( rule by the worst). As important positions are filled based on the notions of diversity equality and inclusion, at the expense of merit, ability and competence, I suspect that your choice of word "awarded" is indeed far too accurate in this instance.
The word "achieved" is anathema to the ideology to which Chuck subscribes.

A great example being this peer reviewed paper on feminist glaciology.

Which also means that you think greenhouse gases and other human activity have no impact on climate?

      Dead wrong!

The estimate is at least 50% of the relatively rapid climate change since the industrial revolution is due to human activity and fossil fuels and carbon emissions.

Droughts, forest fires and floods all occurred before and will again.

The difference is climate change will intensify all of them along with the increased frequency of extreme events which we are already seeing in many parts of the world including Canada at relatively modest increases in CO2 levels and global temperatures. Most of which has gone into warming the oceans.

So your completely wrong if you think climate change is not happening or will have no impact. The science and data prove you wrong.

And there is no credible scientific organization that says human caused climate change is not happening.

If there was, agrisilly climate change deniers would have posted it long ago.

      Give up.
Strange concept, Actions of Humanity are not …. a “Natural “ occurring important component of global climate? Every life form on planet earth…. Simply by their existence… change the ecosystems… simply by existence.

That Humanity is on planet earth… is a miracle in itself… it is only reasonable that human existence… should be expected to change earth’s ecosystems…

Just like every other different life form…. In fact changes the ecosystems around where they exist… simply by existence.

To deny human ecosystems that change… saying that our influence is somehow “evil “ is both annoying and unrealistic political rhetoric.

Nature or all other life forms are sacred… are to have rule and priority…. Is “Unnatural “…

If you Chuck choose to influence ecosystems in a certain manner… Blessings and Wisdom.

Humanity has freedom to choose… how they: live, breathe, grow food, interact with the ecosystems…

So explain why “your “ ethical standards… take precedence over other peoples morality and ethics…

What and Who…made you God… when you didn’t create us…. Or have rational justification to remove our God given inheritance to choose our destiny and justice, ethical standards… and survival.

Your words are Arrogant… lack credibility… are not convincing or logically reasonable.

The Sun, Earth, other life forms, and the Creator of the Universe itself… will determine the future of this planet.

The Authority you have… doesn’t reconcile with your personal demands of us. What actions are right or “wrong… “ are up to ….the conscious creator of this Universe… which , obviously … is not you… CC.

      Blessings , Wisdom, and Prayers

Oh chuck, your marxism has been refuted on many occasions, you are just too dense to see it.

Here is all you need to know about climate change. The max temps recorded 90 years ago when there were 4 billion fewer people and nobody owned a car yet.

So 2023 is the year of global boiling, what was 1935-37 then.

You wouldnt last a second in a real science class.

Oops you missed the highest Canadian temperature record ever. Lyton B.C. in 2021 - 49.6 °C

Environment and Climate Change Canada said the village broke the record of the hottest temperature ever recorded in the country three days in a row, setting a new Canadian record high temperature of 49.6 °C on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.

Like on a lot of things your ideas and data are a way out of date.

Instead we get the usual non answers and climate change denial clap trap!

600 people died in BC during the unprecedented heat dome. And Lyton burned to the ground.

But some of the climate change dumb asses say a hotter and dryer summer climate will be good for us?

I am sure the folks in southern Alberta will want a hotter and drier growing season every year just because its been so good for them.

It's a semi arid desert. Always has been, climate has NOT changed there .

What has changed is the availability of cheap plentiful reliable fossil fuels. Allowing humans to convert unproductive desert into some of the most productive irrigated land.
Using fossil fuels to build dams and dig canals and pump water uphill and build pivots, fertilize the land etc.
