That’s just virtue signal cover for the industry. If you were under attack every day by the no nothing sheep of the world you would try anything to deflect the climate cult away.Originally posted by newguy View PostNoticed big solar panel setups in oil field areas now just going up.
Probably every farmer should put a few up on their shop and play the game too before it comes to us.
Noticed the Sunbridge wind farm at Gull Lake is completely tore down. That must have been 20 windmills gone who knows where. Talk about an extra expense tearing those suckers down. Windiest place in Sask and somebody didn’t think it was a good bet. Didn’t even make it 20 yrs. My parents have pump jacks that have been pumping for 50yrs.Last edited by jazz; Jul 2, 2023, 18:17.

Chuck2, you never responded to my comment that on Global news they were telling Albertan’s if you were heading to BC on the long weekend to fill up in Alberta. Gas in Alberta$1.40 a litre, in BC $1.88 a litre. Do you think this is the oil company’s fault? Your always blaming the oil companies. Same oil, same refined gasoline but $.48 a litre more in BC? Couldn’t be taxes from a NDP government in BC could it?Originally posted by chuckChuck View PostYes exactly like the much larger and more impact full increase in the price of oil and fuel because of supply and demand.
And so far the oil companies haven't sent me a rebate check for all their increased prices!

Gas prices are higher in Saskatchewan with Curly Moe and the Sask Party
I guess Curly and company like hike higher taxes and don't have the benefit of funding a lot of core services with one time non renewable resource revenues.
Life is hard in Alberta when you win the geology lottery and your neighbors have less!
Some Albertans would only be happy if they paid no taxes and got all their provincial services, roads and handouts for free!Last edited by chuckChuck; Jul 3, 2023, 07:24.

I see the subject continues to employ deflection as a technique to avoid answering direct inconvenient questions. The intention being that the other posters will then be duped into defending the strawman arguments, instead of pressuring him to actually answer the questions repeatedly posed to him.Originally posted by Blaithin View PostWho said that?
As usual, it doesn't work.
