    Late Spring?

Today bitter, cold wind. Guess we’ll need ski-do suits for spring work. Sorry for the guys calfing with this ungodly wind.

It is really looking like a late spring with the bitter cold these past few days and no melting in the forecast. Close to -30 last night again.
Wouldn’t you think with all the warming we have had to constitute a Climate Emergency should we not see an earlier spring eventually?

NEVER started to melt, got above ZERO here last year, till April 27....beat that you all.

Had twice the snow, got it seeded by June 3. Record crop.

For us the longer the snow cover stays the less it will dry out before seeding is half over .
Unless we get late May rains .
Early loss of snow generally means we are almost too dry before May 20th .
Lots can happen yet , even on below zero days the sun is shrinking snow pack little by little.
When it goes it will go quickly, probably after mid April by the looks of things .
Hopefully it all soaks in , going to need every drop of moisture possible in a huge area .
