Didn’t they let the chemical go to avoid an explosion? Big mess anyway. One of the wheels on the car locked up and got it going. Witnesses seen it several miles before on fire. Blaming rail company layoffs for poor maintenance which led to said wheels locking up. Nh3 is scary if it ever ruptured in a populated place or oil laden with lots of condensate or even condensate on its own. This derailment and subsequent spill and fire has the possibility to contaminate the waters and land for millions of people.
