Any attempt to lump all of Canada into a single index of corruption is meaningless. As anyone who has done business across this country can tell you, Quebec corruption at all levels, and underground economy is off the charts compared with the rest of the country.
While Quebec is closer to Turkmenistan, the rest of the country outside of the reserves is closer to Denmark.

Sure A5 how much business have you done with Quebec? Probably none.

And there is no corruption in western Canada? LOL

I know guys who work in the oil industry who say the opposite, that there is a lot of corruption and cronyism.

And what about Bill Boyd, a party insider, the Sask Party and the GTH land deals in and around Regina. They reaked with corruption.

Canada should be more like middle of the pack. Harper set up the ethics laws. Too bad he didn’t put teeth into them. He knew the liberals would fail time and again. Any sane country would allow one violation, and can the idiots in charge ASAP. But Canada? When half or more of the population actually reward corruption, well, it’s a lost cause.
