Ok so if you are having surgery done tell the operating room staff they dont need to wear masks. Save the health care system a few cents. I cant figure out why people care if others wear a mask.

So all electric heat for Quebec ?
That should go over well during an ice storm power outage.
I have a near new electric hot water tank maybe I can pawn off for a Porsche with anyone from BC . Both about the same affordability to operate.

So 1 btu is equal to .293watts. Typical average home has a 100k btu natural gas furnace. So 29300watts/240v= 122amps. Typical homes have 100amp services that should go over really well. The grid would have to be redesigned right from a$$hole to appetite.

Mr Treudea got himself an award that he truly deserves.
For the best and the worst environmental and energy stories of 2022.

"Green Hydrogen Unicorn Award – Winner: The Canada-Germany Hydrogen Alliance. This “achievement” was hard won, especially after Canadian Prime Minister/Charlatician™ Justin Trudeau could not “make the business case” for Canadian LNG for which German Chancellor Olaf Scholz had come. Of course, his inability to make the business case was made much easier by his efforts in collaboration with Canadian “greens” to landlock most of the natural gas in the (flyover)Provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan. Our last issue noted the enormous industrial undertaking required in terms of wind turbines, hydrolyzers, a Haber-Bosch plant and giant tankers. Doomberg’s analysis from an energy return on energy invested is a must read."

Basicly the biggest clown show in the world.
The green hydrogen is going to be produced off the coast of Nuffieland where there is currently nothing but rocks.

Who is going to take that on?
Maybe another Trans Mountain that goes 4x budget and will never finish?

Even a 200amp service, 120 amps for the furnace heating element, 40 amps for a hot water heater, already at the 80% maximum base load of 160amps without having a single light, clothes dryer, oven on.....EV pulling 50amps definetely not.

At 12 cents a kwh electrical heat is approx 400% the cost of nat gas. Next on the chopping block wood stoves.

Speaking of climate clowns, Chuck has been conspicuously silent since the lastest Liberal scandal broke, although it may be all the global warming snow and cold in the news that chased him away.
This place is sure quiet without his "input".

Apparently the Liberals have the hiccups, need a new shot, this one needs to be administered to the posterior.

Good to see chuck back in the forum all fired up.

I wanted to tell him about how we converted to wind and solar on our farm. We are saving a ton of money.
