Year in review: hearing hard truths about First Nations farmers

I had an employee with substance abuse problems. History was FAS and childhood trauma. Familial alcoholism. Skin color irrelevant.
All I could give him was leadership and dignity. He fired himself. Glad to see his taillights.
A few years go by. He still visits once a year with his son. Which is lots.
Doing very well finally. All him.

That is the really unfortunate part. FAS is a huge hurdle to even attempt to overcome. No amount of money or opportunity or apologies is ever going to right that wrong.
And trying to hold me and my ancestors responsible for the actions of the current generations isn't going to help.
Breaking that vicious cycle would probably be the most productive step possible. And I don't profess to know how that could be accomplished. Especially if Chuck etc al continue to be violently against anything related to personal responsibility.

Any time we waste our time taking Chuck's bait, always remember the saying about wrestling with a pig. Which doesn't mean we can't have fun l mocking his self importance and ignorance.

We all know what that is. We all pay the natives to be even bigger marxists. Ratchet the Indian Act up to full power like the CWB was and let the socialist chips fall where they may.

Too bad the natives cant recognize socialism is their real problem.

You stole my punchline. We all know that Chuck's proposed solution to everything is more marxism, more big government, more wealth redistribution, more interfering with the free market, less personal responsibility, less capitalism, more big brother knows best.
But in Chuck's very first post, in the story of the native farmer who attempted to be successful, but was subverted by the very factors Chuck proposes as solutions to everything.
Been a few posts later, the age of who was trying to be a cattle farmer, but the band kept redistributing his hey production making it impossible to make a living.
The recurring theme is that no one can borrow money or invest money when the land is owned collectively.
It seems that they have already identified that more communism is not the solution to their problems.
I suspect we are never going to hear a solution coming from chuck.

Look beyond your own experience and try to see the world from someone else perspective.
