Maybe unusual thing happened at xmas!

Had great xmas with 2/3rds of kids cousins etc etc darn covid.

Daughter who resides in NZ with her partner they bought house together 2 yrs ago. Hes a plumber shes in private enterprise with education department providing some sort of tech tuition to teachers not quite sure.

Was a teacher vice principal her self.

Anyway Andre took me aside on xmas eve at a quiet moment.

"Errr i would like to marry danni can i have her hand in marriage and your blessing" "well for sure"

Not sure it happens to much nowadays. Bit old fashioned even.

Love it we all yearn for days gone by or i do.

No announcement yet re engagement will come im sure.

First time for me, the FIL said "there's still time to run". He was serious. Wish I'd listened.

Funny ya know blackpowder i got traded in after 7 years way back when late 98 but also funny i had to pay the change over cost to a new model.......when i didnt think i needed a new model.

Life goes on but the old model has since traded up again about 7 years ago seem to keep her resale value.

A good career option divorcing men

I’m old fashioned. I’d be ticked if my daughters suitors DON’T have the decency and courage to ask.

I think it shows the kind of person one is.

Hopefully your daughters are similarly "old fashioned".

They are! Haha. They have a strong moral compass so far. Here’s hoping.
