I'd say Blood Red is a lot more accurate.

It is strange how Chuck hasn't been around lately tell us about the successful affordable German green energy miracle. They are now paying 30 times what the average American is paying for electricity. And discussing how to ration The limited supply. Including cutting off industrial users. It's almost as if the entire green facade was based on natural gas backup doing all the heavy lifting, well the renewables were just window dressing. Remove the natural Gas and this is the result. At least they have some coal power plants to restart.
Although I can't say I blame them for trying. They've always known that the gas and oil they import would be weaponized someday, and they needed to wean themselves off of that dependence. Too bad they believed the chucks of the world and didn't go with nuclear. Decades of opportunity lost. Countless billions of dollars down the drain. And now they get to freeze and starve in the dark with no industry left to even provide jobs.

Chuck, do you care to offer any explanation as to why solar and wind aren't quite delivering on the hype?

Kind of appears to be an Emporer has no cloths reckoning coming for green energy mandates and policies?

The EU might take the worst of the recession.

Some of the non participants look to come out quicker and stronger.

In a world crying for Natural gas and fosil fuels you have to think our own Emporer may be a little exposed.

Seems the game plan here is to double down on the rhetoric.

And that line right there succinctly explains all the action in the commodity markets this past few weeks.
It's the middle of summer, no one is thinking about heat and food reserves. Perhaps they should be reading The Little Red hen children's book.
