Covid, shingles for those never vaccinated against chicken pox, host of others are viruses, but I warn you get vaccinated against the doesn't care, or you will be playing a risk game over reward that has the risk coming with a whole lot of pain.

These waves are not even close to being over. Each one more infectious than the last. Reach that peak, and then let it mutate on the deadly it missed in alpha and delta build up.

Then, this new wave doesn't bode well for the rest of the world either.

Not sure if you have been following the stats, but it seems that the mRNA vaccines are no longer effective against Omicron or the new variants either. With not only cases but hospitalizations, ICU, and deaths having closed the gap, or even gone the other way recently.

We should be paying close attention to what is going on in China. It is liklely only a matter of time before it gets here. And probably nothing we can do that will improve the outcome, short of locking ourselves in our homes for weeks as well.

Vaccinations and boosters are still effective at preventing the spread and severe illness in most people.

Viruses evolve and vaccines need to be updated as well. So its wrong to suggest vaccines are not still working or are not a good strategy.
