    Paper work

The other day I was whining, to my Dutch neighbor, about all the paper work and hoops you have to jump through for the government. He said "You don't have a clue. In Holland that's about all you do!" Apparently you fill out forms for everything imaginable! Again and again!
He said it is a complete nightmare.
Is this where we are headed? Will we all be pencil pushers and have to hire some third world types to do the actual farming?

Come on cowman, get with the program!!!!! Why do you think that the federal government has picked on agriculture at times and actually tried to stifle the farming community's independence. The bureaucrats are disturbed at these pesky little farmers keep producing without doing a bunch of extra paperwork, its not the bureaucrat way of life. You wonder why it costs the government so much to do anything. It is very apparent if you are going to survive in government any length of time you create a little sphere of bureauacry that only you can figure out. This way you will be able to work all your days in government and get a good governement pension. They have decided that they have to get rid of those last few independent minded farmers that actually want to make a living farming and get agriculture to a level that they relate to, employ three paper pushers for each agricultural worker that actually produces something. Not too hard to figure why it costs so much to run government in this country.
