    Electricity?

Last month my power bill worked out to about 8.7 cents a kilo. This month it is 9.3 cents a kilo! Now I would say that is a fairly decent increase? At that rate it should double within the year!
This is just for power alone not the transmission costs or distribution charges! If they are included it comes to close to 21 cents per kilo!
Is this the Alberta Advantage Klein keeps talking about? What do you pay?

Yes in Alberta..ATCO delivers for now but they just sold the delivery part to another company, so I am expecting the bill to go higher.

cowman, on my last hydro bill 1 kw.h came to 5.17 cents. I farm in Manitoba and that price is based on residential use over 200 AMP low density.
For general service small-low density we pay 6.1 cents per kw.h
