Lots of talk about vaccines in the news,thought i'd look at the other side,have no opinion,only posting because lots of stuff they talk about is being blamed on farmers,roundup etc,so i thought it was worth posting,just happened to stumble on it.

Sorry only watched it for 2 minutes.
I'm not a scientist nor can I speak of the swine flu specifically. I do not get a yearly flu shot.
However, my mother had classmates in iron lungs from polio. It only took two minutes for that movie to jump the shark.

I have however started to post links on Facebook and Twitter to messages that sensibly counter all the "anti" nazis.

Why do i do this to myself?

It takes time to understand anything,i am no where near on this issue,probably never will be.

To bad you didn't watch,go into polio in depth.What interests me is autism,its an epidemic tearing people apart,what ever does cause it,it needs to be found,and i sure would hate farmers ending up taking the blame,you should be to.Not good for business.

The anti-vaccination idiots are just that IDIOTS. Those who believe autism is caused by vaccination against many vicious diseases are looking for a scapegoat to blame for their dear precious children's condition when they should be looking at their own gene pool's flaws and their consumption of alcohol/drugs and smoking habits. Also the women who conceive towards the end of their productive lives and are approaching menopause may in some cases produce less than perfect babies with congenital abnormalities.

It is unfortunate that facts are so far behind in the use of social media. Yes, I believe there is trouble down the track for us all.
Vaccines, sustainable resource use, genetic research, all falling victim to unfacts. Gary Null uses unfacts to sell his products.
My effort towards all this is merely to suggest we have to start exerting a lot of energy towards a science based, factual, common sense "round table" if you will. Using social media to our advantage for a change. I urge everyone to post links to videos to their networks that rebutt this trend.
The future welfare of the poorest 2/3 of the population is being decided by the wealthy 1/3 being bombarded with nothing but unfacts.

Movies (ads) like that led me to do some research while my kids were getting vaccinated.

That was pretty harsh Will. Actually I thought I read somewhere that the protocols and definitions of autism have been greatly widened since the 70s. Hence the 1 in 50 unfact in the movie. Ask a teacher if there is one child per class.

And I'm not about to inject thalidomide into any woman whether I love her or not.

Cause and effect of vaccines re: autism...well the medical specialists pretty well agree that there is very little chance that it has any influence as a cause of autism. Of course the quack sites (and there are many), still squawk about "big pharma" and how they put all those so-called poisons into vaccines and all that rot.
