It would seem that once again strychnine will not be available. The government says that the terrorist war has screwed up the supply. My buddy tells me there is lots of poison at the Big Red Farm Supply store in Great Falls. But whatever, we don't have any here.
The stuff you can get right now doesn't work...but here is a way to improve it. Soak it overnight in anti-freeze! Then it works pretty good! And the gophers just love it.
The other thing is to get right on them early before they have their babies. If you have a gun and can get ammo a little lead poisoning works wonders. Of course if you didn't get a license then you are screwed and will just have to be happy with all these wonderful little creatures that mother nature has provided you with.
