    Ascochyta in chickpeas

My chickpeas are only 6 inches tall and already I will be making my first fungicide pass. Is everyone else experiencing this same problem with ascochyta this year?? The way I figure it I will have to make 3 if not 4 passes this year.

We did a chunk of fixed price wheat in March, will sell 2000 wheat into 2001 PPO, for part of this hedge.

The CWB feed wheat price is the most scarry part of the contract, have a hedge at $135.00 on Winnipeg.

The PRO saying the feed wheat will be 135 basis Vancouver is really out of kilter, and recks our domestic feed market!

Ascochyta is apparently very common this year. Keep on top of it and spray when necessary. Multiple fungicide applications aren't uncommon in pulses. There are a couple of fungicides registered, rotate them within the year to prevent resistance. Geed luck!
