Just wanted to let producers in Central Alberta that Agricore is trying to put together a 25 car spot of feed peas out of Lacombe. They are doing target pricing at $5.00 bushel and will likely accept if they can get enough peas.

With rail programs to the east coast this year being "low" cost... I am wondering if shipping would be cheaper to the EU off the east coast instead of west coast.

I have little other info on the program. My understanding is they are doing out of other points but like most grain these days trying to qualify for car spot discounts
