    Canola on pea stubble?

Can that be a successful crop rotation?
What about crop diseases crossing over from peas to canola? I'm sure some here have tried it, can it work?

Best canola yields here come off pea stubble hands down. Have done it multiple times

It will work well. Most of the time see a yield boost. Herbicide residue may be an issue.

Ya, forgot to mention I used Authority
with the burnoff, so likely I'd be risking chemical damage.

Always do canola on peas. Lots of rain so not worried about authority carryover and use viper in crop

Been doing canola on pea stubble for years. Works well, reduces our spring frost risk but risk of sclero is there and always yields better regardless how much n you put on cereal stubble.
Used viper as well on peas - no residual issues for canola. Moving to different chemistry this year in peas though for other reasons.

Yes is does but - Just watch for root rot - be carefull what you use for certain herbicides and burn offs

furrow what are you switching to?

We are putting authority down and then probably viper...

Was thinking of doing the old Bassagran assure II a week later.... more expensive but easier on crop...
