    The Racks Pea trials

Has The Rack released any information from their pea trials? Or is it for customers only? I am a little out of their area I think here in SE Alberta.

Thanks furrowtickler. Very interesting what you have posted already. Peas are our best crop here so it makes sense to do everything possible to grow a good crop.

I know from watching all year, there were huge differences from simple things. Some plot treatments may be too expensive/risky from what I seen but cant really comment till I see the numbers or the info is posted for all. I will pass on what info I am allowed until they officially release, I would imagine it should be within a couple weeks.

Furrow, when do they choose " the prince of peas"? In the Battleford region?

That's a cavalier Agrow thing - but you have to buy everything from them - he has quite the gig there lol

What is the unanimous favourite yellow pea variety for standability, pod distance off ground, straight cutting ability?

I had Amerillos side by side Meadows, with Meadows standing considerably better. Yield was also better, not by much but noticeable. Amerillos were a bit bigger in size which I'm not a big fan of, but I think the yield will be the big advantage.
