Up to $12/bus w/AOG. But only on 10 bus/ac, good start i guess. We did $10.50 with no AOG last year so for harvest movement not bad.
Seen alot of years below $8 at harvest.
Thanks Furrow: I called one broker and
he said a bit is being picked up at $11
and some growers are making offers at
$12 but none of their buyers are biting.
Johnstons at Welwyn is quoting $11.25
fob farm. I should call Monday. There
is quite a spread between yellows and
greens, old and new crop. If green seed
can be found there may be a spike in
greens in comparison to traditional
acres.
I will have to suffer another year with
Patricks and look forward to trying
Raezers next year.
Ya , tried patrick's one year - back to stiker.
There is virtualy no green pea seed around here, what is left is lower germ, high disease - better off not growing that at all.
