    So Long Charlie Pearson

Just wanted to wish Charlie Pearson happy retirement as last Friday was his last day as the Provincial Crops Market Analyst. Have come to learn how well respected he is in the industry.

Charlie . . . trying to think the first time we met? And to my memory, maybe 1986 in Vermilion doing farm presentations together?

You were quite a bit younger back than.

Maybe a beer at the Kilt sometime soon?

all the best in your exciting years ahead . . . .

Charlie, best of luck in your future endeavours. Hopefully you will continue participating in Agriville, i appreciate the logical aspect of your marketing suggestions. I know for sure I am one of the cats you herd back toward the subject of commodity marketing!

Enjoy retirement. Are you moving to Saskatchewan? Tom says Alberta is self destructing since May and everyone moving out?

Oh, Charliep, you've battled, albeit diplomatically, and laughed, and researched , and compared and corresponded, and chatted. Always the gentleman. The traveller. The inquisitive wanderer through systems, and lands and minds. The barley taster. The paddler. The quiet voice to remind us what being a fellow human is about.

Thank you for being AV's Charliep.

Hope your retirement is more exciting than it can possibly be. Pars

My first day of retirement and in Calgary with family. This will be my priority. Looking forward to improving my golf game to double bogey scores. Promised myself 6 months off before I make other decisions. On social media so I suspect many will know how to contact me.

Will try to hang back from a back from although I still follow. You need to spend disciplined time following markets and would like to back a way a bit. Having said, I will likely still look at the charts. The bigger picture stuff will impact me even more now.

Thanks for posting the picture. A special gift from my work mates. The best part of my career has been people.
