    Yellow Peas

Have been told we will be out of yellows soon, but all of a sudden prices have gone down fast and furious. Guess we have a large crop on the way.
Also told Indias pulse acres were cut and they will be buying all they can from Canada. Wonder what's happend, have we been lied to again????

Somebody needs to sell another boatload before the line companies will bid again. Patience may pay off.

A whack of peas hit India and the port is full of them. Also a lot of importers are getting whacked with their currencies being devalued and it is making them gunshy about additional purchases.

This is especially happening in canary mkt with Europe and Mexico being 50% of the global demand and both have stopped buying because their currency keeps going lower.

Translation. We can screw you so we will. Someone in the middle has pockets stuffed full of our money.
Why is everyone else saying there is no peas there and very little left here?

Good old marketing trick. Lower the price to get farmers to sell and then if that didn't get enough sales. Lower the price some more. Then if that still didn't get enough product, put the price up alittle. Farmers don't like selling when prices are rising
