Seed size is a function of fungicide... we didn't put any on this year. Fungicides keep plants green longer thus increase seed size. Dumb decision on my part oh well. 330 bucks an acre is Damn good. Yep without fung.

Non this year. Dunno hey we decided that. Wish we did. That extra 5 to 10 bu would have been nice... then again 5 bu is breakeven.

I dunno.... we apply 110 lbs of fert blend. ..... double inoculate. .. use seed treatment... how about we start with that.

I put headline on all of mine. Nothing visual on the check strips, not sure if the yield map will show anything. Only 4 bushels to pay for my treatment.

Agree with Klause - there a lot of "little" things that make a big diff in peas
Using the cheapest innoculant , seed rates lees than 200 lbs/ac , high fan speed at seeding , seeding at more than 4 mph and no seed treatment can cut 20 bus off in a hurry on top of what he mentioned.
And yes Klause the shot of Priaxor would have gained you 5-10 bus and probably not gone flat at all.
Being carefull with pre emergent herbicide's is also a factor !!!

Also pea seed at under 14 % mt instead of 16 can make a big diff - far less cracking when handing and seeding
