Love the way the academic crushes the little NFU'ers arguments.

Yeah, you can't beat the unbiased opinion of a
        scientist eh?

University of Melbourne major donors 2010 -
        $100,000 to $500,000 - Monsanto USA.

Just think, if the NFU had deeper pockets the
professor would be championing the cause of the
        CWB.

hes not been in SA that i know but every year we get a troupe of canadian farmers and or experts telling us the evils of gm crops.

but hey for me i doubt i will grow them no real need here yet but i beleive farmers should have choice to do so if they wish without the constant rhetoric that goes with it.

ps all gm crops thus far in australai have yeild penalty in dry areas my agronomist supports it with all there trials but he says it may well change down the trrack

ProFarmer: Perhaps you will change when ALL of the weeds on your farm are RoundUp resistant...every year more and more of this resistance is occurring.

Oh yeah profarmer, I'm real scared of change.
I sold up an 8th generation farm operation, changed
                    countries, changed continents, changed the
management of my new land, the grass and the
water. I changed the way we produce our protein
product, changed the way we market it. I love change
                    - progressive, environmentally and financially
                    sustainable change.
I have no interest in dumb change, change for the
sake of change, change that is not environmentally
                    sustainable.

                    Malleefarmer,
What happens to the choice of farmers who wish to
NOT grow GM crops when they are introduced by
those who do? Contamination has occurred
everywhere GM crops are introduced. This is a genie
that can't be put back in the bottle.
