    Variable Rate Fertilizer or Seed

    Tried variable rating our nitrogen for the first time this year. Can't see a difference, but haven't combined it yet to make a determination. Anyone have any thoughts or experience with this.

      I don't think it makes any difference. I think it sounds good in a textbook, but not practical or worth it in real life.

          This is our first year with it also, and it's hard to say right now how much difference there is in that field.
          We'll see when we harvest whether there is any difference between the commercial prescription and the check strip.
