    slant six engine

    I have a White 6400 swather with a slant six engine, its getting fuel and seems like intermitting spark,new plugs in it at times it feels like it wants to start but then poof nothing.Any suggestions as to the problem would be helpful.

      Intermitant spark? Or regular spark? Something as simple as water in your distributor cap? Rusty rotor? Fried condensor? We had ford a few years back that would run a while and quit, new plugs, run a while and quit. Turned out it was contaminated fuel fouling the plugs. Have you put fresh fuel in if it has sat awhile?

          we had to replace the plug in module on the engine. it would run then quit. started fine then quit and so on.
