What combine would you buy if money was not a factor?

I saw some of the big new Deere combines the other day.

    Dreaming large....

    What do you guys like?

      8120 Case

lots of hydraulic toys with gentle threshing. Along with
all the power and cleaning area to handle a 40 d****r
flex in the crops I harvest. A 9120 would be just too
      much combine.

          9770 JD
if in Brown or dark brown soil zone
          9870 if in Black
You said if money was no object,
but personally I would by from the closest dealer that offered great service and could get you a replacement if something goes sideways.

A brand new JD 8820, with updates for GPS, easier handling, etc., but not updated so much that it loses it's durability compared to the new ones. I can dream.

Seems like the guys running newer JDs here are replacing things at 1500 hours that didn't need to be replaced until 4-5000 hours on the older ones.

If money was not a factor I would have preference for no combine. I would retire.

Even if we could retire , the farmer genes in us still want to operate the best Combine for self satisfaction, ego, or whatever else turns our crank. We can forever say we did it. 9870 STS with all the toys!
