    New Holland 840 combine

    I bought a new combine last year in the middle of harvest and it seemed to develop problems heating. The radiator isn't plugged up with chaff. Does anbody have any brain waves? Has anybody else experienced this problem with this model? Traded in a 840 and the only time it has this problem the rad was noticeably plugged with chaff.

      Thermostat not opening properly could be the reason.

      Our new holland swather overheated due to malfunctioning thermostat.

      That's about all I can think of.
