    Apache sprayers vs Rogator

can anyone identify week areas in either AS710 Apache or 854 Rogator models. For comparable years/hours, equipment options, would you pay more for Rogator, and if so, what percentage more? $120,000 Apache vs. ( 15%) $138,000 Rogator??

    any MUST HAVE options??

I would buy a Rogator because of the Cat Engine.

Rogator - not even need a discussion. We have had ours for close to 15 seasons. No real issues. One wheel motor. Keep the oil clean and you will be fine.

You are buying used. Would be good to check out the service records. They will tell the story.Custom machines are usually driven hard and not serviced regularly. We have found that you need to make sure the hydraulic system is taken care of. You can spend big money on repairs there. That goes for all machines.

Stainless steel tank would be a must for me. Just reduces clean out issues.

Haven't owned the apache, drove it once wasn't impressed with the booms. Own a 1064 and had a 854 ss tank is a must there is a chance the poly will crack, boom clean out nice option on 1064 turn on booms hit bco air blast purges booms, way better than charging booms, also have the sidekick chem injector works well for glyphos or wildoat spray.. cannot be a dry or need surfactant.. allows you to spot spray or boost rate without adding chem to product tank. and smartboom or section control is a must once you have it will wonder what you did with out it.
