    K Hart mounted packers or similar

    I was wondering about the effectiveness of a K hart mounted packer or a similar packer for the use on an 820 Flexicoil airseeder, for seeding and packing canola. I will knife in my fertilizer in a previous pass and use a 4 inch opener to place the canola. I would like some on row packing, what do you think.

    You will run into problems with the packers lifting the back row of shands out of the ground. I have a set of 31-4 inch packers i got for the same reason and had trouble with uneven germination and found the front rows of shank were to deep and back not deep enough. I will sell packers.
