    Used Construction Tires

Does anyone know where one might find used industrial equipment tires suitable to be used as water troughs?

I got some by just checking with the tire store that sells the new ones. This way timing and luck is every thing.

I have asked around here, and there seems to be shortage. Told that rubber so expensive that tires often used as long as possible, patched and repatched. If anyone knows any tire dealers please let me know.

Don't know where you are at Intrepid but they usually have them at the seasonal machinery sales at Rimbey, AB. I seem to recall seeing them advertised by an outfit in Calgary and also one in Montana - I think the adverts were in some of the "prairie product" type catalogues.

I live at Nanton, south of Calgary.
Unable to find any down this way yet. Have checked auctions and none yet this year.

I see there are two 1000 gallon tire waterers listed at the Lewis Brothers feedlot farm sale at Ponoka on June 12th. See www.allenolsonauction.com under sales.

Have you tried Lever Enterprises in Muenster Sk. Just over 1 hour east of Saskatoon. Iwas there one day and they seemed to have a lot of stuff kicking around. (306) 682-3332
