I do not own one but have talked to people that do.
I think it is a good system if you farm in wet, heavy clay soils. I have heard great success with canola.
I do not beleive it is a drill that has a place in the brown or drk brown soil zone. It is also not a low disturbance drill. It is a dual shank so it throws alot of soil. It also seems to leave a deep furrow. I heard max speed is 4.5mph. I cannot confirm that for sure, maybe someone else can comment.
It does not have a place on my farm but every farm is different.

They are not great for trash clearanc either. They are working on something to help with this problem. Could have trouble in heavy stubble.

I would sure like to demo the toolbar where I'm at. But I have a Bourgalt tank and would'nt want any other. Seedhawk told me no problem, lots do it,hook 'em together and order with no tank.

My neighbour has had a seedhawk for years and has great success with the emergence of his canola crops. A problem with the trash clearance though it makes little piles all over the field if you have lots of trash or it is too wet when seeding.
Then with all these little piles it is really rough. Another neighbour combats this roughness by rolling all his acres like we do the pulse crops.

Look at the frame from the front the wings are causing 1 year old ones to bow down. the sale at yorkton had 6 and they were all weak in the same position. But they sure seed a crop well and fast emergence but need more engineering
