    tires vs tracks

    Looking at buying a 450 hp tractor. Wondering what differences there are in performance (traction,fuel consumption, power, smothness of ride etc) between a wheeled tractor and tracks especially the CaseIh quad trac? Does it take more power to drive a track unit vs tires?
