      Just tried standing canola, snow is mostly gone from the canopy. Seed is soaking wet. So much for my strategy that standing canola doesn't soak up moisture....

          Standing durum 18.9. Only have a bit left so will combine it and put on air tomorrow.Got flax left hope that is dry Friday.

              The carbon tax will NOT help this issue but will make grain transportation more expensive.

                Yes if some one goes, we need MORE rail less trucking and destroying highways with high cost fuel.

                Oh right we HAD that and threw it all away, tore up tracks, smashed and burned the elevators for NOTHING!

                          Anyone try flax south sask.?finished up my durum and never got a chance to test the flax today.Hoping it will be dry for tomorrow.

                            I talked to a guy with 400acres of standing flax. Apparently it is laying flat as a pancake. They don't think they have a hope of getting it until maybe spring. All trials end by wrapping mess.
