    CaseIH Quadtrac

Just wondering what experience guys have had with the CaseIH quadtrac 4wd's?
How do you like the quadtrac system.
    Performance, maintenance, pros, cons?
    Any comments would be appreciated.

We have a STX 450 with triples on it , we bought it from a dealer who sold a guy a quad trac.
The guy wants his triples back.

We have a 450 Quadtrac and love it. It has great traction and power and does not spin like wheels in corners and it also has no compaction. You will probably never get one stuck, geat view from the cab without all the wheels. Only downside is on the road it is rough. Smooth in the field and will probably give you 50 more HP compared to any wheeled tractor.

The Agricultural Technology Centre has a couple of publications reporting results of tests on the Quad-track that you may be interested in reading. Here are the links:

Kent the guy that traded in our tractor for tracks got stuk 4 times in one day , once he got mud in the tracks he lost all traction
although I hear one time the ducks flew up from the slough he was trying to seed through.
