mounted tine harrows on air drill

Does anyone use tine harrows mounted on the last gang of shanks on their drill? I'm thinking of putting some on this spring and am looking for any comments, recommendations, etc. We run a 5710 and sometimes the last row doesn't fill in properly and I think this will help.

If you are talking about the double tine that bolts on the shank anyone here who had them threw them away because they plugged with straw.

What type of opener are you using that it doesn't fill in? spoons?
      Or maybe its your speed.

Admittedly, I use wide openers on my drill - 4" sweep style. I like the wide seed spread and the blackening of the soil in the short growing season here. These wide openers and probably why sometimes there is no coverage, but I'm not willing to try narrower openers.

I travel 4.5 mph, and I'm not going to go slower, that's why I'm looking at these tine harrow. However, if they plug up, that isn't the solution either.

as usual, I have more problems than solutions...
