    Norac Depth Control

Thinking of installing a Norac UC3 tillage depth control on our 5710 air drill. Anyone have any thoughts or experience's with this product? Would appreciate your input.

never used one before and am wondering why? once ours is set we rarely change it and if you repase every 3 or four rounds it stays very level. It is very important to rephase.

agreed. If you want accurate control the thing will be constantly searching for the right depth, it will be right half the time. You will get more consistency just by rephasing and run against blocks. Tried the UC2, it was a disaster. Over the width of the drill, where do you point the sensor to get an accurate depth? Always tradeoffs.

Get a conservapak or any other independent shank/wheel system for real good accuracy that actually follows the ground.
